Meet at Biddeford Park & Ride at 9:15 a.m., departure at 9:30 a.m.
1 p.m. Board the Hobo Railroad in Lincoln, NH for a relaxing 15 mile, 80 minute round trip train excursion through a woodsy setting along the winding Pemigewassett River. While on board you will be treated to The Famous Hobo Picnic Lunch, meal includes sandwich, chips, choice of beverage, giant cookie and souvenir HOBO bindle stick.
Then it is off to the Kancamagus Lodge your home away from home for the next two nights. Unwind, relax, and perhaps take a dip in the pool or a nice walk to the center of the town of Lincoln. Dinner tonight will be on your own; there are several dining options within walking distance.
Day 2
7 a.m. - Full breakfast at Brittany’s Restaurant.
9 a.m. - Depart for the Flume Gorge & Visitor’s Center in Franconia State Park to explore the magnificent Flume & the fascinating Visitor’s Center.
11 a.m. - Head to North Woodstock, NH. for lunch on your own.
1:30 p.m. - Depart North Woodstock and head east to Lincoln’s Loon Mountain. Enjoy scenic gondola skyride to the summit, where you will take in glorious panoramic views of the White Mountains.
3:30 p.m. - Return to The Kancamagus Lodge with time to relax.
5:00 p.m. - Join your group for dinner at Brittany’s Café. Choose from Prime Rib, Haddock Provencal, New England Chicken, or Seafood Casserole.
7 p.m. – Head to Jean’s Playhouse Theatre for “The Greater Tuna” at 7:30 p.m.
Day 3
7 a.m. - Full breakfast at Brittany’s; then depart Kancamagus Lodge.
8:30 a.m. - Departure for Windy Ridge Orchard in Haverhill, NH. You may pick your own apples if you wish (a per pound fee applies).
10:30 a.m. – Depart Windy Ridge Orchard & head home. A stop will be made en-route for lunch on your own. Approximate return time 3 p.m.
